VGR Engineering is looking for a Mechanical Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience in structural steel, fabrication, PEB, or related engineering works. The candidate should have strong knowledge of Light Section Weight calculation, along with good knowledge of engineering drawings, steel fabrication, and material estimation.

Key Responsibilities

- Calculate light section weights and steel material quantities accurately.

- Read and interpret engineering, fabrication, and structural drawings.

- Prepare material and quantity estimates for fabrication works.

- Coordinate with fabrication and site teams for project execution.

- Supervise and monitor fabrication and erection activities.

- Check dimensions, materials, and fabrication work as per drawings and specifications.

- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and project teams.





- Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion.

- Ensure quality and safety standards are followed.

- Prepare basic project reports, measurements, and documentation.

Requirements

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.

- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.

- Solid knowledge of Light Section Weight calculation is compulsory.

- Experience in structural steel, PEB, fabrication and erection is preferred.

- Good knowledge of engineering and fabrication drawings.

- Knowledge of AutoCAD and material estimation is preferred.

- Good communication and coordination skills.
