Job Responsibilities and Impact

As Mechanical Design Engineer specializing in Transformer design at Hyderabad, India, this role will be part of a dynamic team that values innovation, diversity, and collaboration.

This job role will be the part of an International Design and Engineering Team specialized in Power Transformer up to 70 MVA 132 kV Class design covering focus countries like India, US, Canada & EU.
2. Responsible for Preparation of Customer drawings, Manufacturing drawings, Bill of materials etc & submission as per schedule.
3. Understanding of Transformer Mechanical design, Thermal, Dielectrics, Short circuit and Sound performance.
4. Coordinating design activities within factories.
5. Participation in internal design concept reviews.
6. Ability to speak and work together with technical teams in different parts of the world.

8. Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Qualitification and Skills:

1. B.E / B. Tech Mechanical Engineering.
2. 2-6 Years Experience working in Mechanical design for Power Transformers manufacturing Industry. Candidates with higher experience also to be considered.
3. Knowledge on CAD software, any 3D Modelling software is a must.
4. Should understand Transformer Design, Mechanical Calculations, Dielectrics, clearance/creepage, basic layout and cleats lead arrangement.
5. Should have good understanding of International & Indian Standards
6. Experience on Microsoft office and tools.
7. Ability to speak with and work together with technical teams in different parts of the world.
8. Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
