Role Description The Mechanical Design Engineer will work on-site in Ahmedabad in a full-time capacity, contributing to the design and development of material handling equipment and storage systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating and reviewing mechanical designs and 3D models, preparing detailed drawings, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and safety requirements.

The role involves collaborating with production, quality, and sales teams to translate customer requirements into practical, manufacturable solutions. The engineer will participate in design validation, prototyping, and testing, and support continuous improvement of existing products and processes. Additional tasks include documentation of design specifications, assisting in layout planning for client sites, and providing technical input during installation and after-sales support when needed.

Qualifications





- Candidates should possess strong skills in Mechanical Engineering and Machine Design.
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Design Engineering and Product Design.
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar).
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Experience in designing industrial machinery, material handling equipment, or storage systems is highly beneficial.
- Good understanding of manufacturing processes, tolerances, and materials used in structural and sheet metal components.
- Ability to interpret and apply national standards, perform basic engineering calculations, and ensure design safety and reliability.
- Effective communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, in office engineering environment.
