About QurbQurb is a Muslim matrimony platform helping individuals and families find compatible marriage partners through a modern, private and personalized matchmaking experience.

As we expand our premium matchmaking services, we are looking for an experienced Marriage Counsellor who can work closely with responsible customers, understand their marriage expectations and provide personalized guidance throughout their partner-search journey.

This is a consultative and revenue-focused role. The ideal candidate should be capable of building trust with customers and converting suitable prospects into Qurb's premium and high-value matchmaking services.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct detailed consultations with individuals looking for marriage.
- Understand the customer's background, preferences, expectations, family requirements and partner criteria.
- Build trust and establish a professional relationship with customers.
- Explain Qurb's premium matchmaking services and how the team can support their partner search.
- Recommend the most suitable premium service based on the customer's needs.
- Convert qualified prospects into paid premium customers.
- Handle high-value customer conversations professionally and confidently.
- Address customer concerns, questions and objections before purchase.
- Conduct regular follow-ups with serious prospects.
- Work closely with the matchmaking and business development team.
- Maintain detailed notes about customer requirements and conversations.
- Help improve premium packages based on customer feedback and market demand.
- Work toward individual conversion and revenue targets while maintaining a consultative customer experience.

Preferred Qualifications




- 5+ years of relevant experience in marriage counselling, matrimony, matchmaking, relationship advisory or premium customer consultation.
- Strong understanding of marriage-related conversations and customer expectations.
- Ability to communicate sensitively and professionally about personal and family requirements.
- Excellent listening and interpersonal skills.
- Strong consultative selling and closing abilities.
- Experience selling premium or high-ticket services is strongly preferred.
- Ability to build trust before discussing pricing or commercial offerings.
- Experience handling affluent, premium or high-intent customers is an advantage.
- Strong follow-up and relationship-management skills.
- Previous experience with matrimony companies, matchmaking agencies, wedding services, relationship consultation or similar industries will be highly preferred.

What We Are Looking ForThis role is different from traditional telesales. We need someone who can first understand the person and their marriage requirements, establish credibility and trust, and then confidently explain how Qurb's premium matchmaking service can help them.

The ideal candidate should be capable of handling conversations such as:

- Understanding what the customer is looking for in a spouse.
- Discussing family and lifestyle expectations.
- Understanding why their current partner search has not been successful.
- Identifying whether they need personalized matchmaking assistance.
- Explaining the value of a premium matchmaking service.
- Handling pricing objections professionally.
- Closing higher-value plans without making the customer feel pressured.
