Role Description This is a remote internship role for a Marketing Communications Intern. The intern will support the development and execution of marketing communication initiatives that promote Digistall’s mission and services to rural businesses and partners. Day-to-day tasks may include drafting social media posts, assisting with email campaigns, preparing basic marketing materials, and helping coordinate online outreach activities.

The intern will also assist with creating press releases, collecting stories and testimonials from rural entrepreneurs, and supporting public relations and strategic communication efforts.



The role involves close collaboration with marketing and operations teams, and offers opportunities to learn about digital inclusion, rural entrepreneurship, and e-commerce.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Marketing Communications and Strategic Communications to support campaign planning and message development.
- Candidates should possess strong Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication suited to diverse audiences.
- Candidates should possess skills in Press Releases and Public Relations to assist with media outreach and basic PR activities.
- Interest in digital inclusion, rural development, or e-commerce, with the ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing priorities.
- Solid organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
- Comfort using online collaboration tools and social media platforms; prior internship or project experience in marketing or communications is a plus.
- Current enrollment in or recent completion of a program in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field is preferred.
