About the Role

We are looking for a Marathi Content Writer who understands that political communication is not just about writing well — it is about understanding the audience, context, timing and medium.

The ideal candidate should have a strong command of Marathi, an active interest in Maharashtra’s political and social landscape, and the ability to convert ideas, developments and campaign objectives into clear, engaging and audience-relevant communication.

This role will involve writing across social media, digital campaigns, speeches, videos, political initiatives and on-ground communication.

Key Responsibilities

- Write compelling Marathi content for social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, X and YouTube.
- Develop captions, campaign copies, headlines, slogans, short-form communication and topical content.
- Write Reel scripts, video scripts, voiceovers and short-form political communication.
- Draft speeches, talking points, event communication, public messages and occasion-based content.
- Research political developments, government initiatives, constituency-level issues, social topics and current affairs relevant to assigned projects.
- Translate complex information into simple, relatable Marathi for different audience groups.
- Adapt the tone of communication based on the platform, subject and target audience.
- Work closely with strategy, social media, design and video teams to convert communication ideas into effective content.




- Develop content around festivals, important dates, public events, local issues and topical developments.
- Proofread Marathi communication and ensure accuracy in grammar, spelling, terminology and context.
- Work on fast-turnaround content when required for topical or time-sensitive developments.

What We’re Looking For
- Excellent written Marathi is essential.
- Strong understanding of Marathi grammar, vocabulary and natural conversational usage.
- Good understanding of Maharashtra’s current affairs, political landscape and socio-cultural context.
- Ability to write both formal Marathi and easy, mass-friendly Marathi depending on the audience.
- Strong research skills and attention to factual accuracy.
- Ability to create impactful communication without making the writing unnecessarily complicated.
- Understanding of social media formats, trends and digital content consumption.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple content requirements.
- Working knowledge of Hindi and English will be an advantage.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with prior experience in any of the following will be preferred:

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
