Profile Requirements:

- Having a minimum of 6 years (after B.Tech) / 8 years (after M.Sc) of experience in Raw material procurement from Pharma / Chemical industry.

- B.Sc Chemistry / B.Tech Chemical Engineering is mandatory.

- Exposure to raw material procurement across multiple products / production sites.

- Hands-on experience in Logistics (Air / Sea / Road).

- Working knowledge in SAP / Other ERP systems.

- Working knowledge of Microsoft office, Internet and E-mailing.

- Having valuable oral & verbal communication skills.

- Understanding of Production planning thoroughly and plan RM procurement accordingly.

- Prepare, procure and handle RM delivery schedule as per changing Production plans.





- Support RM Procurement initiatives with Market intelligence and data for various products on request and proactively.

- Maintain market data for sourcing opportunities and regulatory environment.

- Identification and realization of cost-saving and cost-reduction opportunities.

- Responsible for Developing new vendors & evaluating existing suppliers for RM procurement.

- Act as the principle contact for formal communications with external companies during the procurement process.

- Monitoring of Inventory levels at Plant and Port.

- Other activities as allotted by HOD.
