Title: Manager / Sr. Manager Solution Sales | Electrical Systems

Location: Kolkata

Introduction

We are looking for an experienced Solution Sales professional with strong exposure to MV Drives, HT Motors and industrial electrical systems. The role involves developing business across Eastern India, managing key customer relationships and driving opportunities from technical discussions through order closure.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop new business opportunities and sales pipeline across Eastern India.Develop new business opportunities and sales pipeline across Eastern India.
- Build and maintain relationships with industrial customers, including senior stakeholders.
- Understand customer technical requirements and recommend suitable solutions.
- Review technical specifications and prepare technical comments, deviations and proposals.
- Support pre-bid discussions, solution development and technical/commercial closure.
- Drive opportunities from enquiry stage through order booking and project handover.
- Conduct customer presentations, seminars and technical discussions.
- Track sales activities, opportunities and customer interactions through CRM.
- Monitor market trends,



competitor offerings and customer requirements.
- Coordinate with application engineering, product, commercial and project teams for successful deal closure.

Required Experience & Skills

- Qualification: BE/B.Tech Electrical / Electronics & Telecommunication
- 10-15 years of experience in Solution Sales / Automation Sales / Technical Sales.
- Robust experience in MV Drives and HT Motors.
- Exposure to Transformers, HT Switchgear, PLCs and related electrical systems.
- Good understanding of MV Motor & Drive sizing, selection and applications.
- Knowledge of IEC standards and electrical/power electronics fundamentals.
- Experience in solution selling, proposal preparation and technical closure.
- Strong customer-facing, negotiation, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven experience handling industrial customers in Eastern India.
- Preferred Industry Exposure: Oil & Gas | Power | Steel | Cement | Infrastructure | Energy | Pulp & Paper | Water & Wastewater | Heavy Industries
