Manager/Senior Manager 5+ Years – Mumbai

Are you an Information Security professional with strong experience in VAPT, cybersecurity, data privacy and security compliance? We are looking for a CISO / DPO to lead information security and data privacy initiatives for a leading organization in the insurance sector.

Responsibilities

- Lead Information Security, Cybersecurity, Risk & Compliance initiatives across the organization.
- Own Data Privacy / DPO responsibilities, including compliance with the DPDP Act and applicable privacy requirements.
- Oversee VAPT, vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, red teaming and remediation activities.
- Manage security audits, VAPT sign-offs, security controls and compliance requirements.
- Oversee data security, email security, IAM and cybersecurity controls.
- Identify and mitigate cybersecurity and information-security risks and prepare reports for senior management and the Board.
- Drive security policies, governance frameworks, risk management and security initiatives.
- Work closely with the CRO, CIO, senior leadership and other business stakeholders.

Requirements

- 5+ years of relevant experience in Information Security, Cybersecurity, GRC or Data Privacy.
- Strong experience in VAPT, vulnerability management, penetration testing, red teaming and security audits.
- Good understanding of DPDP Act, Data Privacy and DPO responsibilities.
- Exposure to ISO 27001, GDPR, PCI-DSS, SOX or similar frameworks.
- Strong understanding of data security, email security, IAM and cyber risk.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to interact with CXOs and senior leadership.




- Proactive, ownership-driven approach with the ability to independently manage security initiatives.
