Role Description The Manager On Duty / Duty Manager / Admin / Floor Manager is a full-time, on-site role based at Rama Hospital & Research Centre in Hapur. This role oversees day-to-day hospital operations on the assigned shift, including coordinating patient flow, supervising front-line administrative and support staff, and ensuring adherence to hospital protocols and service standards.

Responsibilities include monitoring admissions, discharges, and transfers; resolving operational and service-related issues; and acting as the primary point of contact for clinical teams, housekeeping, security, and other support services. The role requires maintaining accurate records,



preparing shift reports, supporting emergency and escalation processes, and ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.

Duty also supports continuous improvement initiatives, aligns operations with hospital policies, and promotes a patient-centered, effective, and safe environment.

Qualifications

- Experience in hospital administration or healthcare coordination, with skills in operations management, floor supervision, and shift-based oversight.
- Solid organizational and time-management abilities, including prioritizing tasks, managing patient flow, and handling high-pressure situations calmly.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with doctors, nursing staff, patients, attendants, and support teams, and to manage conflict or complaints professionally.
- Competence in basic computer applications, hospital information systems, and documentation, including reporting, record-keeping, and data accuracy.
- Knowledge of hospital protocols, quality and safety standards, and regulatory requirements relevant to tertiary care and multi-specialty settings.
- Ability to lead and motivate staff on the floor, provide guidance, support teamwork, and ensure adherence to policies and standard operating procedures.
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospital Administration, Healthcare Management, Business Administration, or a related field; a master’s degree or specialized healthcare administration training is an advantage.
