Job Purpose To lead and manage the overall plant maintenance function, ensuring equipment reliability, minimum downtime, preventive maintenance, and smooth production operations across forging, CNC machining, and other manufacturing facilities.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the overall maintenance department and ensure efficient functioning of plant machinery and equipment.
- Handle maintenance of forging presses, CNC machines, machining equipment, and related production machinery.
- Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities.
- Ensure maximum equipment availability and minimize machine downtime.
- Monitor maintenance schedules, machine performance, and maintenance-related KPIs.
- Coordinate with production and other functional departments to resolve equipment-related issues.
- Ensure proper maintenance documentation, SOPs, and departmental systems are maintained.
- Drive maintenance planning, execution, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead and manage the maintenance team, ensuring effective manpower utilization and performance.
- Support troubleshooting,



root-cause analysis, and corrective actions for recurring equipment failures.
- Monitor maintenance KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage maintenance manpower, spares planning, and maintenance execution.
- Ensure safe and productive functioning of plant equipment.

Required Skills

- Strong experience in plant maintenance management.
- Hands-on exposure to forging press maintenance and CNC machine maintenance.
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance, breakdown maintenance, and maintenance planning.
- Experience in manufacturing / engineering industries.
- Strong team leadership and problem-solving capabilities.
- Good communication and cross-functional coordination skills.
- Knowledge of maintenance documentation and SOP systems.

Preferred Industry Background Forging / Automotive Components / Engineering Manufacturing

Preferred Language

English; regional language knowledge is an added advantage.
