Role & responsibilities

- Assist in the development of organisational Risk Management Plan.
- "Lead the internal audit function by planning, executing, and managing audits across various departments."
- Develop and maintain comprehensive audit policies and procedures to support organizational objectives.
- "Conduct performance audit and special audit investigations as and when necessary, or upon request by an appropriate authority."
- Liaise with all departments within the organisation to ensure effective and effective auditing of operations.
- Recommend changes in policies and procedures in a way that shall impact positively on the achievement of the goals and objectives of the Audit Unit in the organization.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and recommend enhancements to improve risk management.
- Periodically analyse and evaluate the effectiveness of the control system in place to mitigate risk and promote the control culture of the organization.




- Collaborate with management to establish audit priorities and ensure alignment with business goals.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards through rigorous audit processes.
- Monitor and review performance of every year.
- Examine and report on the organisations fixed assets register from time to time.
- Undertake any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
- Prepare and present detailed audit reports with actionable insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Facilitate ongoing training and development of the internal audit team to keep abreast of industry best practices.
- "Plan financial, regulatory, compliance & operational audits."
- Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies to support external audits and inspections.

"Conduct stock audits, financial audits, revenue audits."

Preferred candidate profile

Prior experience in financial services industry preferred.
