KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Payroll & Attendance
- Process staff salaries accurately and on schedule across all locations.
- Oversee timely processing of labour payments across project sites, including verification of Labour payment data prior to disbursal
- Manage and reconcile punch-in / ESSL biometric attendance data.
- Verify and process staff travel expense claims.
Insurance & Employee Welfare
- Administer Group Health Insurance (GHI) and Group Health Policy (GHP) data and claims.
- Manage the Workmen's Compensation (WC) policy and the Pan-India Public Liability policy, including renewals and claims.
- Administer the Labour Welfare Fund and related employee welfare schemes.
- Coordinate with insurance authorities on policy administration and claim resolution.
Statutory Compliance & Licensing
- Obtain, renew, and track Labour Licenses for all applicable sites.
- Ensure timely and accurate compliance under P.Tax, PF, ESIC, and Labour Office requirements.
- Consolidate and share compliance data with site SPOCs, and with client PF/HR compliance SPOCs.
- Manage local liability matters and ensure sites remain audit-ready.
- Verify LP (labour payment) data for accuracy prior to processing.
Government & Statutory Liaison
- Act as company liaison with the Labour Commissioner's office, State & Central BOCW boards, and the Employment Exchange office.
- Maintain and manage relationships and contact points across relevant government departments.
- Coordinate police verification for new hires and contract workforce as required.
Employee & Labour Relations
- Address and resolve employee and labour grievances in a timely, fair manner.
- Assess and manage fund requirements for labour advances across sites.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Education: Bachelor's/Master's degree in HR, Labour Law, or a related field.
- Experience: 5–8 years in HR operations and statutory compliance, ideally within construction, EPC, or industrial services with multi-site workforces.
- Regulatory knowledge: Working knowledge of BOCW, PF, ESIC, Labour Welfare Fund, Contract Labour Act, and Workmen's Compensation regulations.
- Liaison skills: Demonstrated experience liaising with labour, police, and other government authorities.
- Systems: Comfortable with payroll systems, ESSL/biometric attendance tools, and MS Office (especially Excel).
- Attributes: Detail-oriented, dependable under multi-site pressure, and confident handling grievances and sensitive employee matters.
Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
