Job Summary

Join PayPal s FP&A; team in a key role supporting G&A; financial planning and decision-making. You will help connect company strategy and goals to financial plans for headcount and operating expenses, deliver insights and recommendations to senior leadership, and establish scalable global standards for OPEX and headcount reporting. You ll also identify opportunities to strengthen planning infrastructure and streamline financial processes while building and leading a high-performing team of analysts.

Essential Responsibilities

- Facilitate collaborative engagement with business to cultivate strong partnership and unlock incremental value for the enterprise

- Ensure in-depth understanding of the business to proactively identify key business drivers

- Effectively communicate financial results & key drivers through concise & effective storytelling

- Streamline, improve, & automate designated workstreams and processes to drive efficiency

- Manage business case modeling, run deep dive analysis, and other ad-hoc financial analysis

- Monitor expense and headcount plan vs actual and provide analysis/recommendation for business partners and Finance team

- Work autonomously but in collaboration with teammates and business partners supporting a global business

- Guide the business through various finance-related tasks

- Own budgeting, forecasting, month-end close, variance analysis, and reporting

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Controllership, Corporate FP&A;, Legal, and a broad group of business stakeholders

Minimum Qualifications

- 5+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor s degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience.

Additional Responsibilities & Preferred Qualifications

- Proven experience in FP&A; or a closely related finance function.

- Strong experience with G&A; financial planning,



including headcount and operating expense management.

- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to develop insights from complex financial information.

- Experience preparing financial analyses and presentations for senior Executives is preferred.

- Experience establishing scalable financial reporting, planning processes, or operating standards across a global organization is preferred.

- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

- Robust ability to navigate ambiguity, prioritize effectively, and execute in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong collaboration and business-partnering skills, with the ability to work effectively across functions.

- Demonstrated people leadership and team-development capabilities.

Additional Responsibilities

- Build and manage financial plans for G&A; headcount and operating expenses, ensuring alignment with company strategy and business goals.

- Analyze monthly performance and key variance drivers to assess implications for future financial outlooks and decisions.

- Develop clear, executive-ready presentations and financial insights to support senior leaders and CEO staff in decision-making.

- Establish and maintain global standards for OPEX and headcount tracking, reporting, and financial management.

- Develop and improve infrastructure, tools, and processes that enable scalable and efficient headcount and OPEX management.

- Translate complex financial and operational information into clear insights, implications, and recommendations for leadership.

- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing team of 2-3 analysts.
