KEY PURPOSE The Manager - Retrofit Execution is responsible for achieving turnover and sustainable growth in the retrofit business by effectively managing project execution, cost control, timely delivery, customer satisfaction, and compliance with safety standards. The role ensures that all retrofit projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet customer expectations while optimizing gross margin and driving repeat business.

Key Responsibilities

- Achieving the turnover target as defined in the Annual Business Plan (ABP), ensuring alignment with the broader business growth objectives.

- Identifying and seizing new business opportunities within the retrofit space, expanding the service offering and contributing to top-line growth.

- Building long-term customer relationships to ensure repeat business and preferred vendor status, positioning the organization as a market leader in retrofit services.

- Implementing long-term cost control measures through process optimization, vendor management, and creative execution practices to maintain profitability in the face of fluctuating costs.

- Conducting financial analysis and forecasting to continuously improve project margins and ensure the efficient allocation of resources.

- Ensuring on-time delivery of all retrofit projects, leveraging best-in-class project management methodologies to avoid delays, cost overruns, and liquidated damages.

- Regularly reviewing and refining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to streamline project workflows and maintain high standards of quality and safety. Strategically managing customer expectations and ensure achievement of targeted Customer Satisfaction Survey (CSS) score.





- Actively collecting feedback from clients post-project to identify areas for improvement and securing positive referral letters.

- Building and executing customer retention strategies to foster long-term partnerships, contributing to repeat business and market leadership.

- Proactively managing total outstanding receivables, implementing strategic collection processes to keep overdue amounts (over 6 months old) under 5%, improving cash flow and financial health.

- Strategically leading safety initiatives across all retrofit project sites, ensuring zero safety incidents by enforcing a culture of compliance with SOPs, HIRA, JHA, and other safety protocols.

- Implementing proactive leadership audits and toolbox meetings to maintain a high level of safety awareness and accountability at all levels of project execution.

- Capturing and disseminating learnings from retrofit projects valued at over INR 1 Cr on a quarterly basis to improve the team’s performance and project delivery capabilities.

- Overseeing the strategic evaluation and management of subcontractors to ensure they are equipped to deliver high-quality work, are aligned with company standards, and adhere to safety and compliance regulations.

- Building long-term relationships with subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring that they are well-versed in the latest project requirements and innovative engineering practices.

- Encouraging subcontractors to adopt new tools and technologies, driving innovation in retrofit project execution.

- Leading, mentoring, and developing the retrofit execution team, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives and a commitment to excellence.

- Fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high performance within the team.
