Role Description The Loan Against Property Business Manager will be responsible for originating, evaluating, and managing loan against property proposals, ensuring alignment with company credit policies and risk frameworks. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mengio, involving regular client interactions, property and income assessment, coordination with legal and technical teams, and preparation of credit proposals for approval. The role includes portfolio monitoring, timely follow-up on documentation, overseeing disbursements,



and tracking repayment performance to maintain asset quality.

The Business

Manager will collaborate with internal stakeholders to optimize processes, support compliance with regulatory and internal norms, and contribute to business growth through strategic sourcing and relationship management with customers, connectors, and distribution partners.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of loan against property products, retail lending processes, and credit risk assessment.
- Experience in property valuation coordination, financial analysis of borrowers, and documentation review.
- Proficiency in customer relationship management, negotiation, and communication with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams including credit, legal, technical, and operations for smooth end-to-end processing.
- Comfort with basic financial tools, MS Office, and data tracking for portfolio monitoring and reporting.
- Prior experience in NBFCs or banks in secured lending or mortgage business is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, commerce, business, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
- Strong ethical standards, attention to detail, and a results-oriented approach with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
