Role Description The Linux & HPE Server Hardware Admin is a full-time, on-site role based in Valsad. This role is responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining Linux servers and HPE server hardware, ensuring stable and secure operations. Daily activities include monitoring system performance, managing backups, applying patches and updates, and resolving hardware and software issues.

The role involves coordinating with internal teams and OEM support for escalations, documenting configurations and changes,



and implementing best practices for system reliability. The administrator will also support infrastructure planning, contribute to high-availability and disaster recovery setups, and ensure adherence to security and compliance standards.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Linux System Administration and Operating Systems management.
- Candidates should possess hands-on experience with Unix environments and general Infrastructure support.
- Candidates should possess solid Troubleshooting abilities for hardware, OS, and network-related incidents.
- Candidates should possess practical knowledge of HPE server hardware installation, configuration, and maintenance.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with server monitoring tools, backup and recovery solutions, and security hardening practices.
- Candidates should possess valuable analytical and documentation skills, with the ability to work independently and in coordination with technical teams.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Linux+, RHCSA/RHCE, HPE server certifications) and experience in data center or enterprise IT environments are beneficial.
- A diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
