Role Description The Licensed Clinical Psychologist will provide comprehensive psychological assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based treatment to individuals with a wide range of mental health conditions. This full time, on-site role is based in Gurugram and involves conducting clinical interviews, administering and interpreting psychological tests, and developing individualized treatment plans. The psychologist will deliver individual, group, and family therapies, maintain detailed clinical records, and collaborate closely with psychiatrists, other psychologists, social workers, and counsellors to ensure integrated care.
Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring treatment progress, participating in case discussions and multidisciplinary team meetings, providing psychoeducation to patients and families, and contributing to crisis intervention when needed. The role may also involve supervision of junior clinicians, participation in training and awareness programs, and supporting ongoing research or quality improvement initiatives within Tulasi Healthcare.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in clinical Psychology and Mental Health, with the ability to work with diverse psychiatric presentations across inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Proficiency in Psychological Testing, including selection, administration, scoring, and interpretation of standardized assessments for diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Experience in Counseling Psychology, using evidence-based psychotherapeutic approaches (e.g., CBT, DBT, family therapy, trauma-informed care) tailored to individual needs.
- Ability to provide Clinical Supervision to interns or junior clinicians, including case review, guidance on ethical practice, and support in professional development.
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology (M.Phil/PhD preferred) from a recognized institution; relevant licenses/registrations as per national regulatory requirements.
- Strong communication and documentation skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team and engage effectively with patients and families.
- Demonstrated commitment to ethical, recovery-oriented, and trauma-informed care; experience in rehabilitation or addiction services is an advantage.
