About the Role

We're hiring a Lead Business Systems Analyst to connect business stakeholders and technology teams and own end-to-end functional delivery for enterprise application work on a Salesforce-based platform. You'll convert business needs into transparent, testable requirements and ensure delivered solutions meet the intended process, data, and system outcomes. This is a hands-on lead role with accountability for complex work and functional leadership across teams.

Key Responsibilities

Business and Systems Analysis

- Own business systems analysis for assigned support work, enhancements, and projects from intake through production
- Lead stakeholder discussions to define business outcomes, current/future processes, business rules, data needs, and acceptance criteria
- Translate business needs into process flows, functional requirements, user stories, workflows, data mappings, and interface requirements
- Analyze production issues and proposed changes across business processes, system behavior, data, applications, and integrations
- Identify functional gaps, dependencies, risks, and decisions that must be resolved before development begins

Solution, Delivery, and Quality

- Work with product owners, architects, administrators, developers, QA, and delivery partners to evaluate solution options and confirm alignment with approved requirements
- Maintain traceability from business objective through solution decisions, test coverage, and business acceptance
- Review functional deliverables at key stages and drive resolution of incomplete, unclear, or misaligned work
- Support backlog refinement with business impact, dependencies, risks, and effort input
- Define functional test scenarios and expected results; confirm test plans/scripts cover approved requirements
- Support SIT, UAT, defect triage, business acceptance, release readiness, and post-production validation

Functional Leadership and Transformation

- Provide functional oversight of work delivered by internal and external technology teams




- Lead business systems analysis for platform consolidation, migration, integration, and customer experience transformation initiatives
- Apply consistent analysis standards and review critical artifacts across workstreams
- Present findings, options, recommendations, risks, decisions, and escalation needs to senior stakeholders

Required Experience and Skills

- 8+ years as a Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst supporting enterprise applications or transformation initiatives
- Hands-on experience analyzing and delivering changes within Salesforce-based environments, including connected applications and integrations
- Strong experience in requirements elicitation, process analysis, user stories, acceptance criteria, data mapping, and interface requirements
- Ability to assess how a proposed change affects business processes, applications, data, integrations, users, and downstream systems
- Working knowledge of APIs, integrations, data models, and data flows sufficient to collaborate with technical teams
- Experience across the full application lifecycle — production support, enhancements, Agile delivery, testing, releases, post-production stabilization
- Experience overseeing work delivered by external partners or managed service teams against defined requirements
- Ability to facilitate discussions, resolve ambiguity, and drive decisions with business and technology stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently with ownership through completion
- Clear written and verbal communication suitable for delivery teams, business stakeholders, and senior leadership

Preferred Experience

- Salesforce consolidation, org migration, or integration across multiple Salesforce environments
- Websites, customer portals, or web/mobile applications within a broader customer experience ecosystem
- Content management or digital experience platforms (Adobe Experience Manager, Sitecore)
- Marketing technology platforms (Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Marketo)
- Transformation programs spanning multiple applications, business units, vendors, or technology platforms
