Beauty Therapist – Multi-tasking as Laser Technician

Job Purpose To provide high-quality beauty and laser services to clients, with a focus on Laser Hair Reduction (LHR), while ensuring excellent client consultation, service quality, hygiene, safety, and adherence to VLCC SOPs.

Key Responsibilities1. Laser Hair Reduction Services

- Analyse the client's skin and explain the LHR procedure, expected results, service process, contraindications, and possible outcomes.
- Execute Laser Hair Reduction (LHR) services as per established SOPs.
- Handle and operate laser equipment responsibly.
- Execute LHR packages and recommend upgrades based on client requirements.

1. Client Consultation

- Consult with clients regarding suitable skin and body treatments.
- Explain appropriate pre- and post-care instructions following LHR and other laser services.
- Provide detailed skincare advice after laser treatments.
- Identify skin and hair concerns and refer clients to the appropriate experts when required.

1. Laser & Technical Expertise

- Demonstrate proficiency in relevant laser and aesthetic treatment modalities, including:
- Diode Laser
- Max Pro Tip
- Nd:YAG
- Carbon Peel
- IPL
- Derma Frac
- Tattoo Removal

1. Hygiene & Equipment Maintenance

- Maintain high standards of hygiene throughout all treatments.
- Sterilize and maintain laser equipment and other tools appropriately.
- Ensure equipment is well-maintained and handled responsibly.
- Maintain a clean and professional treatment environment.

1. Client Service & Sales

- Build positive relationships with clients through professional communication and service.
- Understand client requirements and recommend suitable treatments.




- Soft-sell and upgrade clients to relevant dermatological treatments based on their needs.

1. Administrative Responsibilities

- Schedule and manage client appointments.
- Maintain accurate client records and service details.
- Generate required reports.
- Perform outdoor duties from time to time, as required.
- Attend staff and training meetings and participate in continuous skill development.

Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong technical knowledge of laser and skin treatments.
- Experience in Laser Hair Reduction services.
- Excellent client consultation and communication skills.
- Good understanding of laser treatment procedures and contraindications.
- Ability to recommend suitable treatments based on client requirements.
- Strong attention to hygiene and personal grooming.
- Good organizational and appointment-management skills.
- Customer-focused and professional approach.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Willingness to work in shifts and take on additional responsibilities.
- Comfortable with transfers, as required.

Education & Experience
- Basic Training in Beauty & Make-up / Diploma in Beauty, Make-up, or Skin Treatments.
- Minimum 0–4 years of relevant experience in a similar industry.
- Experience in laser treatments and LHR services is required for this multi-tasking role.
- Willingness to work in shifts and undertake additional responsibilities.
