- Collect, receive, label, and process patient specimens such as blood, urine, and other clinical samples.

- Perform laboratory tests and investigations accurately as per standard procedures.

- Operate, maintain, and calibrate laboratory equipment as required.

- Ensure proper sample identification, handling, storage, and disposal.

- Record test results accurately and maintain laboratory documentation.

- Perform quality control procedures and report any abnormal or inconsistent results to the concerned senior.

- Maintain adequate stock of reagents, consumables, and other laboratory supplies.

- Monitor expiry dates and storage conditions of reagents and laboratory materials.

- Follow infection control, biomedical waste management,



and laboratory safety protocols.

- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the laboratory and equipment.

- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, reception, and other departments regarding investigations and reports.

- Assist in urgent/emergency investigations and ensure timely reporting of results.

- Maintain patient confidentiality and handle laboratory records responsibly.

- Participate in internal audits, quality improvement activities, and accreditation-related requirements.
