Position Summary

Miicron Wires & Polymers Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a Lab Chemist to carry out routine laboratory testing of raw materials, in-process samples and finished products. The role requires accurate testing, documentation, timely reporting of results and support to production for consistent product quality.

Key Responsibilities

· Test incoming raw materials as per approved specifications.

· Perform routine testing of in-process and finished products.

· Prepare Certificates of Analysis (COA).

· Maintain laboratory records, test reports and sample retention records.

· Calibrate and maintain laboratory instruments.

· Prepare standard solutions and reagents.

· Inform QC Manager immediately of any non-conforming results.

· Support production in resolving quality-related issues.

· Maintain laboratory cleanliness and implement 5S.

· Follow laboratory safety practices and PPE requirements.

· Assist during customer, ISO and statutory audits.

Testing Skills Required

· Viscosity measurement

· Solid content determination

· Specific gravity / Density

· Acid Value

· Hydroxyl Value (preferred)

· Moisture determination

· Colour measurement

· pH testing (where applicable)

· Appearance and visual inspection

· Batch comparison and approval





· Raw material identification and verification

Educational Qualification

B.Sc. Chemistry (Essential)

M.Sc. Chemistry preferred.

Experience

2–5 years' experience in a Quality Control Laboratory of a chemical, polymer, resin, paint, coating or specialty chemical manufacturing company.

Computer Skills

MS Excel, MS Word, Email and basic ERP knowledge.

Additional Requirements

Factory-based position at Palghar. Willingness to work extra hours or shifts whenever required.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
