L3 - TKG and Kong

nKey Responsibilities

- Manage and support TKG clusters across Non-Prod, UAT, Production, and DR environments.
n
- Troubleshoot Kubernetes issues related to pods, nodes, networking, ingress, storage, and RBAC.
n
- Install, configure, and manage Kong API Gateway, services, routes, plugins, and certificates.
n
- Support Kong HA setup, upgrades, backup, rollback, and performance tuning.
n
- Configure monitoring and alerting using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, and Jaeger.
n
- Handle production incidents, RCA, failover, and DR activities.
n

nRequired Skills

n

n
- Strong experience in TKG and Kubernetes administration.
n
- Hands-on experience with Kong API Gateway.
n
- Robust Linux and scripting knowledge.
n
- Experience with Docker, Helm
n
- Good understanding of SSL, API security, certificates, and RBAC.
n
- Experience in monitoring, troubleshooting, and production support.
n

nPreferred Skills

n

- Experience with VMware vSphere, NSX, AVI, and Harbor.
n
- Knowledge of Istio, microservices, and service mesh.
n
- Exposure to banking or enterprise environments.
n
- Familiarity with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Kafka, and Redis.
