We are looking for an L1 Engineer – Voice Core / SIP Migration to support Voice Core, VoIP and SIP operations and migration activities. The role involves supporting customer migration from legacy/softswitch platforms to IMS, performing pre/post checks, basic provisioning, call testing, monitoring, data collection and initial troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

- Support SIP/PRI customer migration to IMS as per approved MOP and migration plan.

- Perform pre-checks, post-checks, sanity checks and basic voice call testing.

- Collect and validate customer/network data including numbers, extensions, dial plans and provisioning details.

- Support SIP/PRI/POI provisioning, customer onboarding, test calls and CDR validation.

- Monitor Voice Core nodes, alarms, interfaces and service status.

- Capture logs/traces and perform basic SIP/VoIP analysis using Wireshark.

- Perform initial fault isolation and escalate complex issues to L2/L3 teams.

- Maintain migration trackers, tickets and activity records.





- Coordinate with stakeholders and customers during migration/change activities.

Required Skills

- Basic knowledge of VoIP, SIP, SDP, SS7, SIGTRAN, RTP/RTCP, PRI/BRI/E1 and TCP/IP.

- Basic understanding of IMS, Softswitch, SBC, Media Gateway and voice architecture.

- Working knowledge of Wireshark for basic SIP/IP trace analysis.

- Basic troubleshooting and networking knowledge.

- Ability to follow MOP/SOP, SLA, ticketing and escalation procedures.

- Positive communication and coordination skills.

- Comfortable working in rotational shifts.

Qualification & Experience

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer Science, IT or equivalent.

- 1–3 years of experience in Telecom Voice, VoIP, IMS, NOC or technical support preferred.

- Exposure to SIP traces, Voice Core alarms, migration activities or customer provisioning is an advantage.

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
