Knitwear Designer

Experience: 2–5 Years

Job Responsibilities:

- Develop creative and commercial knitwear designs as per market/customer requirements.

- Research fashion trends, colors, yarns, patterns, and knit structures.

- Develop new designs, samples, and seasonal collections.

- Prepare design sheets/technical specifications and coordinate with sampling & production teams.

- Review samples and ensure design, fit, quality, and construction meet requirements.

- Coordinate with merchandising, sourcing, and production teams for smooth development.

Required Skills:

- Strong knowledge of knitwear design, construction, yarns, colors, and fabrics.

- Good understanding of knitting techniques, stitches, gauges, and garment finishing.





- Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop/CorelDRAW or similar design software.

- Strong creativity, trend awareness, communication, and attention to detail.

- Ability to manage multiple designs and meet deadlines.

Key KPIs:

- Timely development of current designs and samples.

- Sample approval and minimum revision rate.

- Design quality and production accuracy.

- Commercial viability of developed designs.

- Effective coordination with cross-functional teams.

Pay: ₹240,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
