We are looking for an experienced Kafka Administrator with strong expertise in administering and supporting Apache/Confluent Kafka platforms in production environments. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience with Kafka cluster deployment, configuration, upgrades, security, performance tuning, monitoring, troubleshooting, and operational support.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, configure, administer, and maintain Apache/Confluent Kafka clusters.

- Manage Kafka brokers, topics, partitions, replication, retention policies, and consumer groups.

- Perform Kafka upgrades, patching, capacity planning, cluster scaling, and disaster recovery activities.

- Implement and manage Kafka security (SSL, SASL, ACLs, authentication, and authorization).





- Deploy and support Kafka workloads on Azure and AKS environments.

- Administer and troubleshoot Linux servers supporting Kafka infrastructure.

- Monitor Kafka platform health, performance, and availability.

- Provide L2/L3 production support and directly engage with clients to resolve critical issues.

- Collaborate with infrastructure, DevOps, and application teams to ensure platform stability and reliability.

Required Experience

- 3+ years in Kafka Administration.

- Proven hands-on experience managing Apache/Confluent Kafka clusters in production.

- Strong understanding of Kafka architecture, brokers, replication, partitioning, and cluster management.

- Experience with Linux system administration and shell scripting.

- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and AKS.

- Robust troubleshooting, incident management, and client-facing support skills.
