: BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE

About the Role: This is an entry level role in our Industrial Business Development team. You will report to a Manager or Sr. Manager and your job is to keep the pipeline full and moving. That means finding industrial leads, tracking enquiries and tenders, preparing quotations, and setting up site demos.

We want someone who is comfortable making cold calls, does not mind travelling to plants, and wants to learn how water and sewer pipelines actually work. You will initially focus on building the pipeline and supporting larger opportunities, while gradually taking ownership of smaller opportunities as you gain experience.

Key Responsibilities:

- Find and qualify current industrial leads through calls, emails and site visits.
- Track enquiries and tenders from industrial buyers and PSUs.
- Prepare quotations and proposal drafts,



with review by the senior BD manager.
- Coordinate site demos and pilot runs with the operations team.
- Keep the CRM current. Every lead, every call, every follow up date.
- Support the senior BD manager in client meetings, plant surveys and follow ups after a proposal goes out.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related technical field.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in sales, inside sales or business development.
- Exposure to selling hardware or technical products to industries.
- Basic understanding of industrial procurement and tendering.
- Clear communication in English, on calls and with plant engineers.
- Working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and any CRM tool.
- This position involves frequent travel to meet the clients or attend industry events.
