Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Jr./Sr. Engineer SPM Mechanical Assembly to handle mechanical assembly, installation, alignment, and commissioning of Special Purpose Machines and automation equipment. The candidate should have strong hands-on experience in reading engineering drawings and assembling mechanical systems as per design specifications.

Key Responsibilities

- Execute mechanical assembly of SPM machines, automation systems, and customized machinery.
- Read and interpret GA drawings, assembly drawings, part drawings, and BOMs.
- Perform assembly of mechanical components such as shafts, bearings, gears, pneumatic cylinders, linear guides, ball screws, couplings, conveyors, fixtures, and mechanisms.
- Carry out machine alignment, leveling, fitment, and precision assembly.
- Ensure proper fitment and dimensional accuracy of components.
- Identify and rectify mechanical assembly issues during machine build and trials.
- Coordinate with Design, Production, Electrical, Controls, and Quality teams for machine completion.
- Perform machine testing,



trial runs, and support installation & commissioning at customer sites when required.
- Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and assembly standards.
- Maintain assembly records, checklists, and documentation.

Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in SPM / Automation Machine Mechanical Assembly.
- Good knowledge of mechanical components, pneumatic systems, bearings, gears, shafts, couplings, and linear motion systems.
- Ability to understand AutoCAD / mechanical drawings.
- Knowledge of precision measuring instruments such as Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Dial Gauge, etc.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team.

Qualification Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech – Mechanical/Electrical Engineering

ITI candidates with strong relevant SPM assembly experience may also be considered for suitable Jr. positions.

Preferred Candidate

Candidates from SPM, Industrial Automation, Machine Building, Robotics, Packaging Machinery, or Special Purpose Equipment Manufacturing backgrounds will be preferred.

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
