We are looking for Safety Officers at both Junior and Senior levels to ensure safe working practices and compliance at our residential construction project sites.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor day-to-day safety activities at the construction site.

- Conduct regular site safety inspections and identify unsafe conditions and practices.

- Ensure proper use of PPE by all workers, staff, and contractors.

- Conduct Toolbox Talks and safety training for workers and site staff.

- Monitor safety during work at height, scaffolding, excavation, lifting, electrical and hot work.

- Prepare and maintain safety reports, inspection records, checklists and other EHS documentation.

- Conduct risk assessments and ensure implementation of required control measures.

- Investigate accidents, incidents and near-miss cases and prepare reports.

- Ensure compliance with company safety policies and applicable safety requirements.

- Coordinate with Site Engineers, Project Managers, contractors and workers regarding safety matters.

- Monitor housekeeping, emergency exits, fire safety equipment and emergency preparedness.





- Ensure safety permits and procedures are followed before high-risk activities.

- Conduct safety audits and follow up on corrective actions.

Additional Responsibilities Senior Safety Officer

- Lead and supervise the overall safety function at the project site.

- Guide and supervise Junior Safety Officers and safety staff.

- Coordinate with Project Managers and senior management on safety-related matters.

- Review safety performance, reports and compliance of contractors.

- Plan and implement site-specific EHS programs and improvement measures.

- Conduct regular safety meetings and ensure timely closure of safety observations.

Requirements

- Diploma / Degree in Safety, Industrial Safety, Fire & Safety, or a relevant field.

- Relevant experience in residential / building construction projects.

- Good knowledge of construction safety practices and EHS procedures.

- Solid communication and site coordination skills.

- Ability to handle workers, contractors and site teams effectively.

- Candidates with relevant construction-site experience will be preferred.
