Qualification: B.Tech / Diploma – MechanicalKey

Responsibilities:Handle procurement and purchasing activities for mechanical and electrical items.Manage indirect purchase requirements, including consumables, tools, spares and other non-production materials.Identify and evaluate suitable vendors and suppliers.Obtain quotations, negotiate prices, and ensure cost-effective purchasing.Prepare and process purchase orders as per company requirements.Coordinate with vendors regarding delivery schedules, quality and commercial terms.Maintain proper purchase records, documentation and MIS.Coordinate with stores, production, maintenance and other departments to ensure timely availability of materials.Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships.Ensure purchases are made as per required specifications,



quality standards and timelines.Candidate Profile:B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.Relevant experience in purchase/procurement, preferably in a manufacturing/industrial environment.Good knowledge of mechanical and electrical items.Experience in indirect purchasing will be preferred.Good negotiation, vendor management and communication skills
