Job Summary A leading organization in the renewable energy sector is looking for a Monitoring Engineer – Solar & BESS to join its Monitoring Center in Coimbatore.

The selected candidate will be responsible for the remote monitoring, troubleshooting, operational ticket management, reporting, data extraction, and data analytics of solar power plants and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) assets across global locations.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor solar power plants and BESS assets remotely.
- Perform initial troubleshooting and identify operational issues.
- Create and manage operation/service tickets.
- Prepare operational reports.
- Extract and analyze operational data.
- Monitor plant performance and identify abnormalities.
- Coordinate with relevant teams for issue resolution.
- Maintain accurate records of operational activities.
- Work effectively in rotational shifts.
- Perform assigned tasks proactively with minimal supervision.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in:
- Electrical Engineering
- Electronics Engineering
- Instrumentation & Control




- Mechatronics
- Environmental Engineering/Science
- Or a relevant technical/science discipline
- 1–2 years of relevant experience.
- Good IT and computer skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good written and spoken English communication skills.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts.
- Fast learner with a proactive and adaptable approach.

Preferred Skills

- Experience in solar power plant monitoring or renewable energy.
- Experience with BESS / Battery Energy Storage Systems.
- Knowledge of SCADA or remote monitoring systems.
- Data analysis and reporting.
- Power plant operations experience.
- German or Japanese language skills will be an added advantage but are not mandatory.

Shift Details The position requires working in three rotational shifts:

- Morning Shift
- Afternoon Shift
- Night Shift

Weekly and annual holidays will be provided as per the company's shift schedule and policies. Compensation & Advantages

- Salary: 4-5 LPA
- Paid leave as per company policy
- 6-month probation period
- 2-month notice period

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
