Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Java Tech Lead with 810 years of strong hands-on experience in Java and Spring-based application development. The candidate will provide technical leadership, drive design and development activities, support the team in resolving complex technical challenges, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong communication and team-handling skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, architects, developers, testers, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide technical leadership and guidance to the development team.

- Design and develop scalable, secure, and high-performance applications using Java and Spring Boot.

- Translate business and technical requirements into effective technical solutions.

- Define and review application architecture, design patterns, coding standards, and best practices.

- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical and production issues.

- Mentor developers and support continuous technical growth within the team.

- Coordinate with Business Analysts, Project Managers, QA teams, and other stakeholders.

- Participate in client-facing technical discussions and provide appropriate technical recommendations.

- Support technical estimation, planning, task allocation, and delivery activities.

- Identify technical risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks and proactively address them.

- Ensure development activities meet project timelines, quality, and performance expectations.

Must-Have Technical Skills

- 810 years of professional software development experience.

- Strong hands-on experience with Java 8+, preferably Java 17 or above.

- Strong experience with Spring Framework and Spring Boot.

- Good knowledge of Spring MVC, Spring Security, and Spring Data JPA.

- Strong experience with RESTful APIs and Microservices architecture.

- Strong knowledge of Hibernate/JPA.





- Valuable experience with SQL and relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL.

- Experience with Maven/Gradle and Git.

- Good experience with JUnit and Mockito.

- Experience with Docker and familiarity with Kubernetes.

- Good understanding of CI/CD and DevOps practices.

- Strong understanding of application security, performance, scalability, and troubleshooting.

- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is an advantage.

Technical Leadership & Team Handling

- Ability to lead and technically guide a team of developers.

- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

- Ability to conduct effective code reviews and technical knowledge-sharing sessions.

- Mentor team members and help improve overall technical capability.

- Take ownership of technical deliverables and team outcomes.

- Effectively manage technical priorities, dependencies, and escalations.

- Work collaboratively with cross-functional and distributed teams.

Communication Skills

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Comfortable participating in client meetings and technical discussions.

- Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and stakeholder-management skills.

- Ability to handle team discussions, conflicts, and technical escalations professionally.

Good to Have / Preferred Skills

- Angular / Angular-based frontend development knowledge.

- Basic to intermediate knowledge of .NET / C# and the ability to understand or support .NET-based applications.

- Experience working across Java + Angular full-stack environments.

- Understanding of contemporary frontend development using JavaScript/TypeScript.

- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.

- Experience working with offshore/distributed development teams.

- Experience in application modernization, cloud migration, or microservices transformation.

- Relevant Java, Spring, Angular, or cloud certifications would be an advantage.
