Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Full Stack Engineer to join our Investment Technology team in Mumbai.

This is a highly hands-on engineering role focused on building scalable, high-performance applications supporting investment operations, trading, compliance, portfolio analytics, data platforms, and real-time financial systems.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java backend development, Vue.js, distributed systems, multithreading, and low-latency application development.

Experience with Aeron or similar high-performance messaging technologies is highly desirable. Exposure to Generative AI and LLM technologies is a plus but not required.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop scalable full-stack applications using Java and Vue.js.
- Build high-performance backend services, REST APIs, microservices, and distributed applications.
- Develop modern and responsive user interfaces using Vue.js.
- Design and optimize low-latency, high-throughput systems.
- Work with Aeron or similar messaging frameworks for real-time data processing and communication.
- Develop concurrent and multithreaded applications requiring high performance and reliability.
- Integrate applications with APIs, messaging platforms, databases, and enterprise systems.
- Own features and technical workstreams from design through development, deployment, and production support.
- Troubleshoot production issues, conduct root cause analysis, and optimize system performance.
- Participate in architecture discussions, technical design, code reviews, testing, and documentation.
- Collaborate with business, product, and engineering teams to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Contribute to platform modernization, automation, and engineering best practices.

Required Skills

- 8 14 years of software engineering experience.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Java and enterprise backend development.




- Strong experience with Vue.js and modern frontend development.
- Experience developing REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
- Experience with Aeron or similar low-latency/high-performance messaging technologies.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.

Preferred Skills

- Experience in Investment Management, Asset Management, Capital Markets, Trading, or Financial Services.
- Experience developing real-time or high-frequency transaction systems.
- Experience with Azure or other cloud platforms.
- Experience with Snowflake or modern data platforms.
- Python experience for automation, data processing, or AI integrations.
- Exposure to Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, or AI Agents.
- Familiarity with LangChain, LangGraph, vector databases, or similar AI technologies.
- Experience working in large-scale enterprise or multi-vendor technology environments.

Ideal Candidate We are looking for a strong hands-on engineer who can independently solve complex engineering problems and take ownership of systems from architecture through production.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Java, Vue.js, distributed systems, concurrency, and low-latency application development, with experience building scalable and highly reliable enterprise applications.

Candidates with experience in trading, investment management, capital markets, or other performance-sensitive financial technology environments will be especially relevant.

Generative AI experience is considered an additional advantage and is not a mandatory requirement.
