Job Title: Java API Developer

Position: Full Time / Permanent

Mode: Work from Office/ Hybrid

Location: Karur / Dharwad

Experience Required: 5 - 10 Years

Responsibilities:

- Design and develop high-quality applications using Java 17+/ J2EE platforms. Ensure the application architecture is scalable, reliable, and maintainable.
- Create and maintain RESTful web services. Integrate APIs with various systems and services to meet business requirements.
- Work with RDBMS like Oracle, MongoDB, and Postgres. Write and optimize SQL queries, including joins, group by, and aggregate functions.
- Experience in BI dashboard/ reporting is preferred.
- Experience in AWS/Azure cloud technologies are preferred.
- Utilize Hibernate for ORM and Spring Boot for developing microservices. Implement and manage microservices architecture to support business functionalities.
- Apply multithreading and concurrent package principles to optimize application performance and handle concurrent processes efficiently.
- Use logging frameworks such as SLF4J, Logback, or Log4j. Write unit tests using JUnit and engage in test-driven development practices.
- Work with application servers like JBOSS or WebLogic for deploying and managing applications.

Required Skills:

- Extensive experience with Java 17+ / J2EE platforms,



including in-depth knowledge of core concepts such as exception handling, serialization, and immutability.
- Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Hibernate, and microservices architecture.
- Proficiency in designing and consuming RESTful web services.
- Experience with RDBMS (Oracle) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Postgres). Skilled in writing complex SQL queries.
- Hands on BI exposure is preferred.
- Experience with multithreading, concurrent package, and concurrent APIs.
- Familiarity with logging frameworks like SLF4J, Logback, or Log4j.
- Experience with writing JUnit test cases and following test-driven development principles.
- Experience with deploying applications on servers like JBOSS or WebLogic.
- Solid verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.

Preferred Soft Skills:

- High attention to detail and accuracy in development and testing processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to address and resolve technical challenges.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team environment.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing project requirements.

Education:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications are advantageous.
