About the Project

Zovle is currently forming a specialist engineering team for a potential 9-month project with the Aeronautical Development Establishment (ADE), DRDO, Bengaluru.

The project involves the development of Test Automation Software for an avionics test facility. The scope includes test case generation, test configuration and management, test automation, UI development, integration with an RT system, integration and testing with avionics LRUs, automated test execution and reporting, software verification and IV&V.;

We are looking for an IV&V; / Software Verification Engineer who can take ownership of software verification activities and work closely with the software, test automation and avionics engineering team.

Responsibilities

- Review and analyse software requirements and technical specifications
- Develop software verification and validation plans, procedures and strategies
- Define and review software test cases and verification criteria
- Plan and execute software verification activities
- Review test procedures, test data and test results
- Verify that implemented functionality meets defined requirements
- Support integration and system-level testing
- Analyse failures, identify defects and support defect tracking and resolution
- Maintain verification evidence and traceability
- Prepare software verification reports and related technical documentation
- Support IV&V; activities and clearance
- Work closely with Test Automation Engineers and Avionics Test Engineers
- Review software documentation and test artefacts
- Support final system acceptance, demonstration and commissioning activities
- Ensure verification activities are performed in accordance with the project's applicable technical and documentation requirements





Required Qualifications & Experience
- 3+ years of professional experience in software verification, software testing, V&V; or IV&V;
- Solid understanding of software verification methodologies
- Experience creating test plans, test procedures and test cases
- Experience analysing test results and producing verification evidence
- Experience with requirements-based testing and traceability
- Experience identifying, documenting and tracking software defects
- Strong technical documentation skills
- Ability to work with software development and engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle

Work Arrangement

This is a hybrid role based in Bengaluru, Karnataka.

The project includes software development as well as physical integration, testing, commissioning and demonstration activities. Candidates should therefore be available to participate in on-site activities in Bengaluru when required.



The tender specifically provides for a hybrid core team and Bengaluru-based project delivery.

Project Status and Engagement

Important: This is currently a pre-award opportunity.

Zovle is currently evaluating and bidding for the ADE/DRDO project. The project has not yet been awarded to Zovle.

Being shortlisted or participating in discussions during this stage does not constitute employment or a confirmed contract.

If Zovle is awarded the project, selected candidates will enter into a separate written engagement with Zovle. The final role, responsibilities, availability, compensation, payment schedule, working arrangement and other contractual terms will be agreed in writing before project work begins.

If the project is not awarded to Zovle, there will be no project engagement under this opportunity.

Compensation

₹6,00,000 to ₹16,00,000 per year equivalent, depending on experience and the final project scope.

Final compensation and payment terms will be mutually agreed in writing if the project is awarded and the candidate is formally engaged.

Who should apply?

This role is intended for engineers who have real hands-on experience in software verification and testing, particularly those who have worked on complex engineering, embedded, aerospace, avionics, defence or hardware-integrated systems.

If your experience is primarily manual QA for conventional web applications, this role is unlikely to be the right fit.
