Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and technically sound ITI Fitter to handle installation, assembly, maintenance, and servicing of industrial equipment and machinery. The candidate should have good knowledge of mechanical fitting, tools, measurements, and equipment installation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Install, assemble, and dismantle mechanical equipment and machinery.

- Perform fitting, alignment, and assembly of machine components.

- Read and understand mechanical drawings, layouts, and technical specifications.

- Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments effectively.

- Perform equipment installation and ensure proper alignment and positioning.

- Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance as required.

- Identify mechanical faults and assist in troubleshooting equipment issues.

- Perform drilling, cutting, grinding, filing, and other fitting activities.

- Check dimensions, clearances, and alignment using appropriate measuring instruments.

- Coordinate with engineers and supervisors during installation and maintenance activities.

- Follow safety procedures and workplace safety standards.

- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas properly.

- Prepare basic reports regarding installation, maintenance, and work completion.

- Travel to customer/project sites for installation and service work when required.

Skills Required:





- Knowledge of mechanical fitting and equipment installation.

- Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings.

- Knowledge of fitting tools and equipment.

- Knowledge of measuring instruments such as Vernier caliper, micrometer, and gauges.

- Basic knowledge of machine assembly and alignment.

- Ability to identify and troubleshoot basic mechanical issues.

- Good understanding of workplace safety practices.

- Good physical fitness and ability to work at project/site locations.

- Valuable communication and teamwork skills.

- Willingness to travel to different customer/project sites.

- Ability to follow instructions and complete work within deadlines.

Experience Required:

- 0–3 years of experience in fitting, mechanical installation, machine assembly, or maintenance.

- Experience in technical installation or industrial equipment installation will be preferred.

- Experience in machine alignment, assembly, and maintenance will be an advantage.

- Freshers with ITI Fitter certification can also be considered.

Qualification:

- ITI – Fitter Trade from a recognized institute.

- Relevant technical certification or apprenticeship experience will be an advantage.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
