IT MANAGER
& ROLE PROFILE

Position Summary The IT Manager leads the organization's technology strategy, IT infrastructure, system operations, and support team. This position is responsible for ensuring high system availability, robust cybersecurity, seamless user support, and successful execution of critical technology initiatives—including office server and data center migrations—aligning technology services with overarching business objectives.
Core Responsibilities
· Infrastructure & Systems Management: Manage, maintain, and optimize enterprise infrastructure including Windows/Linux servers, virtualized platforms (VMware/Hyper-V), Active Directory, cloud systems, and core enterprise applications (Microsoft 365, Google Workspace).
· Network & Security Operations: Configure and maintain LAN, WAN, VPN, firewalls, and Wi-Fi networks. Proactively monitor system performance, deploy security patches, implement antivirus solutions, and manage access controls to ensure maximum network reliability.
· Project Leadership & Migrations: Plan and execute major IT infrastructure projects, including server relocations, office moves, data center migrations, and hardware/software upgrades with zero business disruption.
· Business Continuity & Compliance: Establish and enforce data backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability protocols. Ensure strict compliance with internal IT policies, information security standards, and regulatory guidelines.
· IT Support Operations & SLA Delivery: Direct and mentor Level 1 and Level 2 Onsite IT Support Engineers. Oversee end-user technical support for desktops, software, audio/video conferencing, and network connectivity, ensuring timely issue resolution and SLA compliance.
· Application & Systems Support: Provide ongoing administrative and technical support for core business systems, including ERP, EDMS, MIS, and operational software applications.
· Vendor & IT Asset Management: Manage relationships with hardware/software vendors and Internet Service Providers (ISPs). Oversee IT asset inventory tracking, software licensing, procurement, and vendor contract performance.
· Strategic Planning & Budgeting: Prepare and manage annual IT budgets, optimize technology expenditures, evaluate automation opportunities, and recommend system improvements to drive operational efficiency.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education & Experience
· Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field.
· Experience: 5–8 years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure management, systems administration, and technical team leadership.
Technical Skills
· Systems & Virtualization:
Windows Server, Linux administration, VMware, Hyper-V, Active Directory.
· Cloud & Productivity: Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Enterprise Messaging & User Management.
· Networking & Security: LAN/WAN, VPN, Firewalls, Wi-Fi configuration, Endpoint Security, Patch Management, Disaster Recovery.
