Role & responsibilities

1. Cyber Security Management

- Implement and maintain cybersecurity policies and procedures across the organization.
- Protect company devices, servers, networks, and cloud infrastructure from malware, ransomware, phishing, and cyber threats.
- Monitor antivirus, endpoint security, firewalls, and security systems. Conduct periodic vulnerability assessments and security audits.
- Ensure data security, backup integrity, and compliance with company policies.

2. Endpoint Protection & Device Management

- Manage desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and other IT equipment.
- Ensure all systems have updated operating systems, patches, antivirus, and security controls.
- Implement device monitoring and access control mechanisms.

3. IT Infrastructure Management

- Maintain and upgrade servers, storage systems, networking equipment, Wi-Fi infrastructure, and internet connectivity.
- Monitor and improve performance, reliability, and availability of IT systems.
- Plan and execute infrastructure upgrades based on business requirements.

4. Technology Upgradation

- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend suitable hardware, software, and security solutions.
- Prepare upgrade proposals with cost-benefit analysis.
- Ensure systems remain aligned with current industry standards.

5. Network Management

- Manage IP address allocation and bandwidth allocation based on departments, users, and business requirements.
- Configure and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and network security systems.
- Monitor internet utilization and optimize network performance.

6. Hardware & Software Procurement

- Identify IT requirements and procure hardware, software, and licenses.
- Coordinate with vendors for quotations, purchases, warranties, and AMC renewals.




- Ensure cost-effective procurement while maintaining quality standards, in line with the applicable Delegation of Authority.

7. IT Asset Management

- Maintain a complete IT asset register including computers, laptops, printers, networking devices, licenses, servers, and software subscriptions.
- Track warranty periods, AMC contracts, and replacement cycles.

8. Cloud Infrastructure Management

- Maintain and monitor cloud servers, virtual machines, storage, backups, and cloud applications.
- Coordinate with cloud vendors and developers for maintenance, troubleshooting, upgrades, and security.
- Ensure backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity mechanisms are functioning properly.

9. Vendor Coordination

- Liaise with software vendors, cloud providers, ISP providers, cybersecurity vendors, and hardware suppliers.
- Monitor vendor performance and service quality.

10. User Support & Administration

- Provide technical support to users for hardware, software, email, and network issues.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
- Maintain IT documentation and standard operating procedures.

Additional Responsibilities

- Manage Microsoft 365 / Google Workspace administration, including email security, spam protection, and access policies.
- Manage firewall, VPN, and remote access solutions.
- Maintain CCTV, biometric systems, access control systems, and other security devices.
- Monitor software licensing compliance.
- Implement and test backup and disaster recovery procedures, conduct cybersecurity awareness training for employees.
- Maintain IT policies, audit records, and compliance documentation.
- Support ERP, POS, CRM, e-commerce, and other business applications, coordinating with developers for integrations and troubleshooting.
- Manage vendor contracts and AMC renewals.
