Role Description The International Trade Manager is a full-time remote role responsible for managing and expanding Barraid’s international trading and export activities. This role involves identifying new global markets, developing trade strategies, and building relationships with international distributors, suppliers, and partners.
The International Trade
Manager will negotiate business terms, oversee export documentation and compliance, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely and productive order fulfillment. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring market trends, assessing risks, optimizing pricing and margins for international deals,
and maintaining clear communication with stakeholders to support sustainable growth in global operations.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in International Trade and Export, with experience managing cross-border transactions and trade regulations.
- Candidates should possess Business Negotiation and Trading skills to secure favorable terms and manage commercial relationships effectively.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills to collaborate with international partners, internal teams, and regulatory bodies.
- Relevant experience in e-commerce, retail, or consumer goods, preferably in barware or lifestyle products.
- Knowledge of global trade compliance, logistics, and customs procedures.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Commerce, Economics, or a related field; advanced certifications in trade or logistics are an advantage.
- Proficiency with productivity tools and basic data analysis to support market research and performance reporting.
