Role Description The Interior Design Intern role is an on-site internship based in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. The intern will assist with developing design concepts, preparing mood boards, and creating presentations for client reviews. Daily tasks may include supporting the preparation of drawings and layouts, helping with material and furniture selection, and maintaining project documentation.

The intern may participate in site visits, measurements, and coordination with vendors under the guidance of senior designers.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess foundational skills in interior design principles, space planning, and an understanding of materials and finishes.
- Candidates should possess basic proficiency in design and drafting tools (such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and presentation software (such as PowerPoint or Keynote).
- Candidates should possess strong visual communication abilities, including the ability to create mood boards, simple renderings, and clear design presentations.
- Candidates should possess valuable organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to support multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Candidates should possess effective written and verbal communication skills, and a collaborative approach to working with designers, clients, and vendors.
- Enrollment in or completion of a diploma or degree program in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field is preferred.
