Role Description The Interior Design Consultant will work on-site in Bengaluru in a full time capacity, collaborating closely with clients to understand their lifestyle, preferences, and functional needs. Daily tasks include developing interior design concepts, creating mood boards and layouts, selecting materials, finishes, and furnishings, and preparing presentations to communicate design proposals. The consultant will coordinate with vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that design plans are executed accurately and within timelines.

Responsibilities also include conducting site visits, overseeing installations, ensuring adherence to ergonomic and human-centric design principles, and updating clients on project progress.



The role involves maintaining detailed project documentation, staying current with design trends, and contributing to the firm’s overall creative vision.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong interior design and space planning skills, including the ability to create functional, aesthetic layouts aligned with human-centric and ergonomic principles.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in design visualization tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and presentation software to develop drawings, 3D views, and client-ready proposals.
- Candidates should possess skills in material, finish, and furniture selection, with a keen eye for color, texture, lighting, and overall composition.
- Candidates should possess project coordination and stakeholder management skills, including vendor liaison, site supervision, and timeline management.
- Candidates should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills to conduct client meetings, present concepts clearly, and incorporate feedback effectively.
- Relevant skills such as attention to detail, problem-solving, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team are beneficial.
- A diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, along with prior experience in residential interiors or design consulting, is preferred.
