- Instrumentation Designer
Responsible for detail engineering activities related to instrumentation for power, O&G; projects.
Key responsibilities include
- Preparation of System configuration drawings for DCS. PLC and other control system as per project specifications and applicable standards.
- Preparation of Control room layouts, Electronic equipment room and other Local control rooms
- Preparation of Instrument, Junction Box (JB), Fire & Gas (F&G;), Process Hook-up, and Field Instrument Air Tubing layouts using AutoCAD.
- Development support of cable tray layouts using AutoCAD including extraction of layouts from S3D/SP3D models.
- support to 3D modelling of instrument cable trays, main cable trays, field instruments, junction boxes, Fire & Gas devices, and telecommunication equipment using AutoCAD and 3D.
- Preparation of instrument installation hook-up and process hook-up drawings in accordance with project specifications and applicable standards.
- Support to the Development of secondary cable tray support installation details for field execution.
- Support to the Generation of Cable Tray Material Take-Off (MTO) for procurement and project estimation.
- Coordination with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure accurate model integration and clash-free design in 3D
- Assisting and updating of engineering deliverables such as cable routing, Schedule and interconnection wiring diagrams in compliance with client specifications, project requirements, and industry standards.
- Support design reviews, model reviews, and incorporation of review comments during the detail engineering phase.
