Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled InDesign Artist to join our creative team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming raw copy, imagery, and design concepts into polished, print-ready, and digital layouts. Your primary focus will be master-level typesetting, layout execution, and production using Adobe InDesign.

The ideal candidate has an exceptional eye for typography, a deep understanding of grid systems, and the technical expertise to ensure flawless pre-flight and production execution.

Key Responsibilities:

- Layout & Composition: Design and build high-quality layouts for multi-page documents, including catalogs, brochures, magazines, annual reports, eBooks, proposals, and presentations.
- Typesetting & Formatting: Apply advanced typesetting principles, including strict adherence to paragraph/character styles, kerning, tracking, leading, and baseline grids.
- Template Creation: Develop and maintain clean, scalable InDesign master pages, templates, and libraries to streamline the production process.
- Asset Integration: Import and manipulate graphics, illustrations, and photography from Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop into InDesign layouts seamlessly.
- Pre-Press & Pre-Flight: Review, package, and prepare files for commercial print production, ensuring correct color profiles (CMYK/Pantone), bleeds, crop marks, and image resolutions (300 DPI).
- Digital Publishing:



Create interactive digital documents, including interactive PDFs, EPUBs, and digital flipbooks with hyperlinks and buttons.
- Quality Control: Proofread layouts for formatting consistency, text reflow issues, missing fonts, and broken links before final sign-off.
- Collaboration: Partner closely with copywriters, graphic designers, and project managers to meet tight publishing deadlines.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Software Expertise: Expert-level mastery of Adobe InDesign. Proficient working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat Pro).
- Typography & Grids: Strong structural understanding of layout design, typography rules, grid alignment, and information hierarchy.
- Technical Printing Knowledge: Deep understanding of commercial print processes, paper stocks, binding methods, and color management.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous eye for detail to catch minor alignment, spacing, or text errors.
- Portfolio: A robust portfolio demonstrating clean layout design, complex document handling, and typographic precision.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience using InDesign GREP commands for advanced search and styling.
- Familiarity with data merge and automation features within InDesign.
- Basic understanding of HTML/CSS or digital publishing alternatives.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
