Role Overview

nWe are looking for a detail-oriented and dependable In-House Accountant to manage the financial operations of our architectural and interior design practice. The role involves handling day-to-day accounting, project-based financial tracking, vendor coordination, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.

nKey Responsibilities

n1. Accounting & Bookkeeping

n

- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions
n
- Manage day-to-day accounting entries (receipts, payments, journal entries)
n
- Reconcile bank statements and cash flows regularly
n
- Maintain ledgers, balance sheets, and financial reports
n

n2. Project-Based Financial Tracking

n

n
- Track project-wise budgets, expenses, and profitability
n
- Monitor client payments, advances, and outstanding dues
n
- Align vendor payments with project cash flows and timelines
n
- Assist in preparing project estimates and cost reports
n

n3. Billing & Invoicing

n

n
- Generate client invoices as per milestones and agreements
n
- Follow up on receivables and ensure timely collections
n
- Coordinate with the design and execution team for billing inputs
n

n4. Vendor & Contractor Payments

n

n
- Manage vendor invoices, verification, and payment scheduling
n
- Maintain records of all contractor and supplier transactions
n
- Ensure proper documentation for all purchases and expenses
n

n5. Compliance & Taxation

n

n
- Handle GST filings, TDS deductions,



and statutory compliance
n
- Coordinate with external CA for audits and filings
n
- Ensure all financial records are audit-ready and compliant
n

n6. Financial Planning & Reporting

n

n
- Prepare monthly financial reports and cash flow statements
n
- Assist in budgeting and financial forecasting
n
- Provide insights on cost control and financial efficiency
n

nRequired Skills & Qualifications

n

n
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
n
- 2–5 years of experience (preferably in architecture/interior/design or construction industry)
n
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks)
n
- Strong understanding of GST, TDS, and Indian taxation norms
n
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
n
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
n
