Role Description The Income Auditor is a full-time, on-site role based in the Pune/Pimpri-Chinchwad area. This role is responsible for auditing daily revenue reports from all hotel outlets, verifying postings and discounts, and ensuring that all income is accurately recorded in line with company policies.

The Income

Auditor reviews night audit reports, reconciles cash and non-cash transactions, and investigates variances, errors, or irregularities. Daily tasks include coordinating with front office, F&B;, and finance teams to confirm all revenues are captured, preparing income summaries, and supporting month-end closing activities.



The role also involves maintaining proper documentation, supporting internal and external audits, and recommending process improvements to strengthen internal controls.

Key Responsibilities:

- Audit and verify the hotel’s daily revenue from all operating departments.
- Verify Front Office, F&B;, Banquets, Room Revenue, and other revenue transactions.
- Reconcile daily revenue reports with PMS/POS and financial records.
- Check discounts, complimentary transactions, voids, cancellations, refunds, and allowances.
- Verify cash, credit card, online payment, and other collection records.
- Identify revenue discrepancies and report them to the Finance/Management team.
- Ensure proper supporting documents are maintained for all revenue transactions.
- Prepare daily revenue and audit reports.
- Coordinate with Front Office, F&B;, Finance, and other departments for discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies and financial controls.

Preferred Candidate:

- Graduate in Commerce / Finance / Accounting or a related field.
- Experience in hotel finance, income audit, night audit, or revenue audit preferred.
- Good knowledge of PMS/POS, MS Excel, and hotel accounting procedures.
- Strong reconciliation and analytical skills.
- Valuable attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
