Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented HR Generalist with 5 years of experience to manage end-to-end HR operations, employee lifecycle management, HR compliance, payroll coordination, employee relations, and HR policies. The ideal candidate should have solid expertise in statutory and labour-law compliance and the ability to independently manage HR operations in a fast-paced organization.

Key Responsibilities – HR Operations

- Manage employee lifecycle activities including onboarding, documentation, transfers, promotions, confirmations, and exits.
- Maintain accurate employee records, HR databases, attendance, leave, and regularization processes.
- Prepare HR MIS, reports, dashboards, and employee-related data.
- Handle employee queries related to policies, attendance, leave, payroll, benefits, and HR procedures.

HR Compliance – Core Responsibility

- Ensure end-to-end compliance with applicable labour laws and statutory regulations.
- Strong practical knowledge of PF / EPF, ESI, Professional Tax, TDS, Gratuity, Bonus, Payment of Wages, Minimum Wages,

Shops & Establishments, and Maternity Benefit requirements.

- Hands-on understanding of POSH compliance, awareness, documentation, and process requirements.
- Coordinate monthly statutory compliance activities and ensure timely filing/payment of applicable returns.
- Maintain statutory registers, records, notices, and compliance documentation.
- Coordinate with external consultants, payroll teams, auditors, and statutory authorities where required.
- Conduct periodic compliance checks, identify gaps, and support corrective actions.




- Track changes in applicable labour laws and assess their impact on HR policies and processes.
- Support internal and external HR compliance audits and closure of observations.

Payroll & Compensation

- Coordinate monthly payroll processing with payroll/accounts teams.
- Verify attendance, leave, LWP, deductions, incentives, reimbursements, and other payroll inputs.
- Ensure accurate statutory deductions including PF, ESI, PT, TDS, and other applicable components.
- Handle employee payroll queries and maintain payroll records for audit purposes.

Recruitment & Onboarding

- Support recruitment activities across departments as required.
- Coordinate interviews, candidate documentation, offer release, joining formalities, and background verification.
- Conduct HR induction and explain company policies, benefits, attendance, leave, and code of conduct.
- Ensure employee documentation is complete from Day 1.

Employee Relations & Performance Management

- Act as the first point of contact for employee HR concerns and grievances.
- Support disciplinary processes, warning letters, show-cause notices, PIPs, and other employee actions.
- Coordinate confirmation, appraisal, increment, and performance review processes.
- Support managers in implementing KRAs, KPIs, and performance improvement plans.
- Conduct exit interviews and analyze employee feedback and attrition trends.

HR Policies & Documentation• Draft, review,



and implement HR policies and SOPs in line with business and statutory requirements.

- Prepare offer, appointment, confirmation, warning, experience, relieving, and other HR letters.
- Maintain employee handbook, HR policies, SOPs, and process documentation.

POSH & Workplace Compliance

- Support implementation and awareness of the POSH policy.
- Coordinate POSH training and awareness initiatives.
- Maintain required POSH documentation and records.
- Ensure confidentiality and appropriate documentation while handling workplace complaints.

Exit & Full & Final Settlement

- Manage resignation, notice-period tracking, clearance, and exit formalities.
- Coordinate Full & Final Settlement with payroll/accounts.
- Ensure timely issuance of relieving and experience letters.
- Maintain accurate exit and attrition records.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5 years of relevant HR Generalist experience.
- Strong practical knowledge of statutory and labour-law compliance.
- Hands-on experience with PF, ESI, PT, TDS, gratuity, bonus, minimum wages, Shops & Establishments, and POSH.
- Experience in payroll coordination, HR operations, employee relations, and HR documentation.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, documentation, and analytical skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and HRMS systems.
- Ability to independently handle sensitive employee matters in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Candidate Profile The ideal candidate should be capable of independently managing end-to-end HR operations, with compliance as a core area of responsibility. The candidate should be comfortable working with management, employees, payroll/accounts teams, consultants,

auditors, and statutory authorities.
