About the Role

We are looking for a Human Resources Executive with prior experience working in a Public Relations or Communications agency. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of the PR industry, its work culture, different PR roles and profiles, and the kind of talent required in a fast-paced agency environment.

The person will be responsible for managing day-to-day HR operations while also working closely with the leadership and account teams on hiring, employee engagement, performance management and overall people-related initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Hiring

Manage end-to-end recruitment for PR and corporate roles, from sourcing to onboarding.

Hire for positions such as PR Executives, Senior PR Executives, Account Managers, Account Directors, interns and support functions.

Source candidates through LinkedIn, recruitment platforms, references and industry networks.

Screen candidates based on both PR experience and cultural fit.

Coordinate interviews with the leadership and respective team leads.

Manage offer discussions, joining formalities and onboarding.

Maintain a strong talent pipeline for PR profiles.

HR Operations

Manage employee attendance, leave, WFH requests and other day-to-day HR requirements.





Maintain employee records and HR documentation.

Handle onboarding, confirmation, transfers, exits and full & final processes.

Coordinate with the finance team on payroll-related inputs and employee changes.

Ensure HR policies and processes are communicated and followed effectively.

Employee Engagement

Plan and execute employee engagement activities, celebrations, team initiatives and internal events.

Understand employee concerns and act as a bridge between employees and management.

Help build a positive, team-oriented and professional agency culture.

Conduct regular employee check-ins and address concerns appropriately.

Performance Management

Coordinate performance reviews and appraisal cycles.

Work with team leads to track employee performance and development.

Identify training and development requirements.

Support managers in handling performance-related discussions and improvement plans.

PR Industry Understanding

Have a clear understanding of PR agency structures, roles and responsibilities.

Understand the difference between profiles such as PR Executive, Senior PR Executive, Account Manager, Account Director, etc.

Be able to assess candidates based on their media relations, client servicing, communication and PR experience.

Understand the fast-paced nature of PR agencies, including deadlines, client requirements and team pressures.
