HR Generalist Recruitment & Operations

Location: Sector 48, Gurgaon Work from Office

Experience: 2-5 years

Working Days: 6 days/week

Compensation: 4 - 5.5 LPA

About the role

We're looking for someone who can own HR, not just coordinate it.

TechHand is a growing startup, and this is a hands-on generalist role. On one day, you may be sourcing candidates and conducting initial interviews; on another, you may be resolving an employee concern, checking payroll inputs, coordinating a new joiner's laptop or following up with a vendor.

If you enjoy taking ownership, solving problems and bringing structure to things, you'll enjoy this role.

What you'll own

- End-to-end recruitment - including personally sourcing candidates through Naukri, LinkedIn, referrals and other channels
- Resume screening, initial interviews, candidate follow-ups, offer and joining coordination
- Onboarding, documentation, probation tracking and exits Attendance, leave records and payroll inputs

- Employee concerns, internal communication and day-to-day people matters
- Employee engagement and team initiatives
- Office operations including vendors, assets, laptops/devices, supplies and joining setup





- Improving HR and operational processes using AI and digital tools
- Working closely with the founders on people and operational priorities

You may be a good fit if

- You have 2+ years of hands-on HR experience
- You have personally handled recruitment and candidate sourcing
- You communicate confidently and professionally in English

- You are organised, proactive and positive at follow-ups
- You are comfortable handling both people problems and operational problems
- You don't wait for every task to be assigned before taking action

- You are comfortable using modern digital/AI tools

- You have at least 2 years of relevant HR experience.

- You are fluent and confident in spoken English (its a MUST)
- You have personally handled recruitment and candidate sourcing, not just interview coordination
- You are comfortable owning both HR and office operations.
