Position Title: Employee Welfare Officer
Reporting To: CEO / Manager HR
Supervises: Not applicable
Role Purpose To promote and maintain employee well-being, welfare, engagement, and satisfaction across the organization by identifying employee concerns, implementing welfare initiatives, resolving workplace issues, and fostering a positive work workplace that supports employee retention and productivity. The Employee welfare officer works closely with the Unit Managers, HR Team, Administration Team, Facility Heads, Employee Relations Team, Employees Across All Locations
Key Responsibilities
1. Employee Welfare & Well-being
- Monitor and assess employee welfare needs across facilities and departments.
- Conduct regular employee interactions, welfare meetings, and workplace visits.
- Identify welfare-related concerns and recommend practical solutions.
- Ensure employees have access to welfare facilities and support programs.
1. Employee Support & Grievance Resolution
- Act as the primary contact for employee welfare concerns and non-disciplinary grievances.
- Investigate employee issues and coordinate with relevant stakeholders for timely resolution.
- Maintain records of employee concerns, actions taken, and closure status.
- Escalate unresolved matters to management when required.
1. Employee Engagement & Retention
- Plan and execute employee engagement activities, recognition programs, and welfare initiatives.
- Support employee retention strategies through regular feedback and intervention programs.
- Coordinate celebrations, awareness campaigns, and employee appreciation events.
- Promote a positive workplace culture and employee morale.
1. Wellness & Health Initiatives
- Organize wellness programs, health camps, counselling sessions, and awareness activities.
- Promote physical,
mental, and emotional well-being among employees.
- Coordinate with healthcare providers and wellness partners when required.
- Monitor employee participation and effectiveness of wellness initiatives.
1. Employee Feedback & Communication
- Conduct employee satisfaction surveys, pulse checks, and focus group discussions.
- Analyse employee feedback and identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare recommendations and action plans based on employee insights.
- Facilitate communication between employees and management.
1. Welfare Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure compliance with applicable labour welfare provisions and company policies.
- Maintain welfare records, reports, and employee welfare databases.
- Track welfare metrics, employee satisfaction scores, and grievance resolution status.
- Submit monthly welfare reports and recommendations to management.

Criteria
Details
Education
Graduate/Postgraduate in Human Resources, Social Work, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field
Experience
3–6 years of experience in Employee Welfare, Employee Relations, HR Operations, or Employee Engagement
Knowledge
Employee welfare practices, employee engagement, grievance handling, labour welfare regulations, workplace well-being programs
Skills
Communication, counselling, problem-solving, conflict resolution, stakeholder management, reporting and analysis
Behavioural Attributes
Empathy, integrity, confidentiality, accountability, proactive approach, employee-centric mindset
Languages
Proficiency in English and local language preferred
Tools Familiarity
HRMS, MS Office, Employee Survey Tools, Attendance Systems, ERP Platforms
Pay: ₹12,636.68 - ₹30,000.00 per month
