NAbout the Role

nBuildAmbit is looking for an Interior Architecture Trainer & Subject Matter Expert (SME) to lead training delivery, curriculum development, and content creation for our Interior Architecture programs.

NThe role combines teaching, mentoring, content development, and industry expertise, with a strong focus on practical, project-based, and career-oriented learning.

NKey ResponsibilitiesTraining & Mentoring

- Deliver engaging and practical Interior Architecture training through live classes, workshops, and masterclasses.
N
- Teach concepts across space planning, interior architecture, materials, lighting, furniture, detailing, and design development.
N
- Mentor learners on liveprojects, assignments, portfolios, and industry-oriented case studies.
N
- Conduct design reviews,assessments, presentations, and project critiques.
N
- Provide structured feedback to help learners improve their technical and design capabilities.
N
- Prepare learners for professional Interior Architecture roles and industry expectations.
N

nContent & Curriculum

- Develop and continuously improve curriculum, modules, lesson plans, assignments, and practical projects.
N
- Create learning contentincluding presentations, videos, exercises, case studies, and project briefs.
N
- Ensure content reflectscurrent industry practices, design standards, workflows, and emerging trends.
N
- Review and quality-check existing content for accuracy, relevance, and industry alignment.
N
- Incorporate real-world projects and professional case studies into the learning experience.

nSubject Matter Expertise

- Bring practical knowledge of interior architecture, space planning, design development, materials, finishes, lighting, furniture, detailing, and documentation.

- Guide learners on professional design workflows from concept development through design documentation and execution.
N
- Stay updated with new materials, technologies, software, design trends, and industry practices.
N
- Work closely with the Product, Content, and Learning teams to continuously improve the program.
N

nTools & Skills

nStrong proficiency in relevant tools such as:

NAutoCAD | SketchUp | Revit | 3ds Max | V-Ray | Enscape | Photoshop

NKnowledge of additional BIM, rendering, visualization, or AI-enabled design tools will be an advantage.

NWhat We're Looking For

- 3 to 7 years of relevant experience in Interior Architecture, Interior Design, or Architecture.

- Strong practical experience in interior architecture and design projects.

- Prior experience as a trainer, faculty member, mentor, or design professional is preferred.

- Strong portfolio demonstrating real-world projects.
N
- Excellent communication, presentation, and teaching skills.
N
- Ability to simplify complex concepts and explain them effectively.

- Strong understanding ofindustry expectations and employability skills.

- Passion for teaching, mentoring, and developing industry-ready professionals.

- B.Arch / B.Des / Diploma in Interior Design or Interior Architecture, or a relevant qualification preferred.
